Our Descale Flush Process
SPS Plumbing follows a structured process to descale water heaters safely and effectively:
1. Shut down the water heater and isolate it from the building plumbing.
2. Connect hoses and a pump to create a closed loop through the heater.
3. Circulate an appropriate descaling solution for a set period of time.
4. Flush the system thoroughly with clean water after the solution has done its job.
5. Restore normal plumbing connections and restart the heater.
6. Test operation and verify proper flow and temperature at one or more fixtures.
